Ephrata Police received a report of elderly male who went missing from Adamstown, PA.   

Family reported:    Edward D. Stoudt M/80 of Adamstown left his home this morning around 1030am in his red BMW SUV and has not returned home. 

Mr. Stoudt suffers from health related issues and may be in the Lancaster or Berks County area.   

South Reading Road (SR272) in Ephrata will be closed between Meadow Valley Road and Rothsville Road for an extended period while crews address a broken 12-inch water main.  Motorists are asked to avoid the area.  If traffic must come through, please follow the detours.

South Cocalico Rd will be closed between Shenks Mill and Furnace Hills Rd. For and extended period while crews investigate a serious crash.

Two crashes in the area of Bethany and E. Main St. are causing significant traffic tie ups. Please avoid the area if possible to reduce traffic volume. Will update when situation changes. No injuries at this time.

Fatal Vehicle Accident currently under investigation on Route 222 Southbound at mile marker 41, Ephrata Township.
