Ephrata Police filed Theft by Unlawful Taking Charges against Cameron M. Booth, 24, of Akron. Booth, a former cashier at K-Mart, 1127 South State Street, Ephrata Township, is accused of stealing $270 from the cash register over the past month.

Samuel A. Weaver, age 22, of Ephrata, has been cited with Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkenness, following an incident on 5/24/15 where police were called to the Ephrata Hospital where Weaver was not a patient and was causing a disturbance and refusing to leave.
Lloyd Dwayne Young, w/m/28 of 2171 E. Sherman Ave., Vineland, NJ was charged with Public Drunkeness after participating in a disturbance that prompted neighbors to call police. He was arrested and held until sober.
Tracie Kathleen Scott, w/f/48, of 261 W. Metzler Rd., Lot 5, Ephrata was charged with Disorderly Conduct after she was reported to have caused a disturbance and use obscene language in the first block of South Maple Street.
