Hit and Run Vehicle Crash(Building)
On Friday, Sept. 8, at 6:50 AM, Ephrata police responded to a report of a hit and run crash involving a vehicle which struck a rock wall and barn earlier that morning. Police were informed that a witness observed at pickup truck being loaded onto a tow truck at around 2:00am that morning but did not realize there was damage caused by the pickup truck. Police were later notified by the tow company regarding the crash. Police identified the owner of the vehicle as the driver at the time of the crash. The driver, Dominik Corch, 21, of Akron, stated he lost control of his truck while travelling south on Royer Rd. and struck the rock wall and barn. Corch was not injured as a result of the crash. Corch was cited with Accidents Involving Damage to Unattended Vehicle or Property, a summary offense.
