On July 5, 2019 at 9:27 p.m., Ephrata Police investigated a report of vandalism to the Grater Community Park, 300 Cocalico Street, Ephrata Borough. Vandals damaged a park sign, bleachers and a bench and ripped a soap dispenser and paper towel holder off the wall in the restroom. A witness assisted police with identifying and locating the suspects.
Police recently charged Zackary Cramer, 22, of Ephrata with Criminal Mischief and Disorderly Conduct. Three juveniles, a 17-year-old male from Lancaster, a 15-year-old female from Ephrata and a 13-year-old male from Ephrata, were referred to the Ephrata Youth Aid panel for their involvement in this incident.
