On Tuesday July 3, 2018 at 7:08 p.m., Ephrata Police received a call from Sheetz, 891 East Main Street, Ephrata Township, informing police that a group of five people entered the store, two of whom stole frozen dessert treats. Police located the group in the parking lot near a light-colored sedan. Police arrested Joshua M. Napolitan, 30, of Ephrata and Jonathan R. Sheehan, 31, of Ephrata for Retail Theft. Also in the group was Troy A. Davis-Spade, 26, of Ephrata who was wanted by the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department on a bench warrant. Davis-Spade was arrested.
At 7:58 p.m. police, who were still in the parking lot investigating the retail theft, received information that a male was passed out in a van in the parking lot on the other side of the building. Police found Johnny Ray Gardner passed out in the van. Gardner, 40, of Ephrata was also wanted by Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department on a bench warrant. Gardner was arrested.
