Patrol officers have every other weekend off, work 7 days every two weeks and have 6 weeks notice of schedule changes. Benefits include full pension after 25 years of service and reaching age 50, post-retirement health care coverage, and full college tuition reimbursement.
Candidates with or without prior training or experience are encouraged to apply. We will pay for your academy training. Starting salary while in the academy is $59,848. Officers who complete the academy or start with certification start at $68,914. Officers who start with 2 or more years of full-time experience as a certified officer start at $80,713.
