On 4/16/19 at 8PM Ephrata Police responded to a retail theft that just occurred at Walmart in Ephrata Township. Asset Protection employees reported observing a female loading stolen merchandise into a white dodge charger and driving away. The suspect vehicle registration was provided to police. Officers on patrol located and stopped the vehicle approximately a half mile from Walmart. The driver was identified by asset protection employees as the retail theft suspect and the stolen merchandise valued at $304.96 was recovered from the vehicle. The suspect was identified as Takesha Monique Williams, 43, of Harrisburg. Williams was charged with felony retail theft and taken to Lancaster County central arraignment pending her arraignment.
