Ephrata Police arrested Jeovanny Shultz, M/23, early Saturday morning 3-4-17 after they stopped him for lurking between buildings and a home in the 1300 block of West Main and S. Market Streets In Ephrata Borough.
Ephrata Police were in the area of W. Main and S. Market Streets at approximately 0015 hours on an unrelated incident when they spotted a person dressed in dark clothing carrying a backpack lurking between business and apartment buildings in the 1300 block of West Main St. Ephrata Police upon investigating found the same male behind a home in the first block of S. Market Street. Police stopped the male and following a short investigation found him to be in possession of a flashlight, various drugs and a semi-automatic handgun.
Jeovanny Shultz, last know address of Miller St., Strasburg, Pa. was arrested and charged with two felony charges related to possession with intent to deliver drugs, two felony charges related to person not to possess a firearm, two other drug related charges and a misdemeanor loitering and prowling at night. Shultz was taken to Lancaster County Central Arraignment where he was arraigned on the charges and committed to Lancaster County Prison on $150,000.00 bail.
