After posting the reported theft of an 8’ illuminated inflatable Christmas decoration on social media, Ephrata Police received several tips the item was listed for sale online. The investigation revealed Howard Good, age 50, of Ephrata, had stolen the large decoration to sell for cash. He enlisted a relative to assist him with selling the item online. The relative was not aware the item was stolen. The decoration was recovered from a dumpster where Good had placed it after learning police wanted to speak to him about the incident. During the investigation, Good was arrested on an outstanding Lancaster County Bench Warrant held by the Lancaster County Sheriff's Department and transported to Lancaster County Prison. Good will be charged with Theft By Unlawful Taking.
