Application Workshop and Information Session

The Lancaster County Chiefs of Police Association is happy to announce that we will be holding an Application Workshop and Information Session on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at the Lancaster County Public Safety Training Center. 

At this session, we will have a couple of computers available so that you can complete the application if you have not already done so.  We will also be collecting the two required forms from applicants to ease the process of submitting that paperwork.  Beyond that, though, we will have copies of the written test preparation materials that you can look at before ordering your own copy and we will have members of the LCCPA’s newly-formed Recruiting Team on hand to meet and interact with applicants prior to the date of the test.

The LCCPA is proud to announce that we are instituting the Recruiting Team, which will be comprised of police officers and police leaders from member agencies who will serve as mentors and guides to applicants throughout the whole process.  Applicants will be paired with members of the Recruiting Team who will then be available to answer questions throughout the process and who will be able to provide guidance throughout the hiring journey.  At the LCCPA, we value our people, and we know that creating that relationship with our people should begin long before they are actually hired.

So, whether you have already applied, are in the process of applying, or are simply considering a career in policing in Lancaster County, come out and join the LCCPA’s Recruiting Team at the Public Safety Training Center, 101 Champ Blvd, Manheim, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 16, 2022.
