Project Lifesaver

Last Night we hosted a presentation for Project Lifesaver.  It was a fun, informative evening for the crowd of families who came out!  Our main speaker was PA State Police Master Trooper Kelly Osborne accompanied by Trooper First Class Chad Roberts.

Project Lifesaver is a public safety search and rescue program for people with a cognitive brain condition and are also prone to wandering.  Founded in 1999, Project Lifesaver incorporates wearable locating devices to help find and bring loved ones home.

Project Lifesaver is sponsored in Lancaster County by the Pilot Club of Lancaster County and PSP Camp Cadet.  There are ten (10) full member agencies in Lancaster County and more associate member agencies.  East Lampeter Township Police Department is an associate member of Project Lifesaver thru PA State Police Troop J Barracks.  We currently have three (3) members trained and are expecting more to be certified in 2023.  Stop in the station to learn more or if you would like additional information or register, contact MTpr.
