Police Blotter




  1. On 3/4/2020, a detective with ELTPD filed criminal charges of Prostitution against JESSICA LAURIE (33 year old / white female / Leola) from an incident that occurred on 9/24/2019 at the 1722 Motor Lodge (1722 Old Philadelphia Pike).
  2. At 12:15 a.m., police responded to the Days Inn (34 Eastbrook Rd.) attempting to locate a wanted subject.  While there (unrelated to that incident), they observed JESSICA LAURIE (33 year old / white female / Leola) who police also knew to be wanted.  Jessica Laurie was taken into custody without incident.  A search of Jessica Laurie and her hotel room was conducted revealing she was in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.  Jessica Laurie charged with said offenses.   
  3. While investigating the above mentioned incident with Jessica Laurie, police made contact with BRANDON WALKER (28 year old / white male / Lancaster) who was found to be wanted.  A search of Brandon Walker revealed he was in possession of drug paraphernalia, heroin and marijuana.  Brandon Walker charged with said offenses.
  4. At approximately 1:41 a.m., police were dispatched to the area of the 2100 block of Lincoln Highway East for a traffic complaint.  A short time later, police were dispatched to the campus of the Lancaster Mennonite High School (2176 Lincoln Highway East) for a vehicle accident.  A silver Volkswagen Jetta had crashed into a an apartment building on the campus.  The building did not appear to have major structural damage.  Police are actively investigating the incident.  The operator taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.
  5. At approximately 6:40 a.m., police responded to the 00 block of Hess Rd. for an animal complaint.  A passerby located a brown and white Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and took it into custody.  The dog was transported to the Humane League.
  6. At approximately 2:05 p.m., police responded to the East Lampeter Township Hobson Park for a dog law violation.  Police made contact with MARK WINGERD (67 year old / white male / New Holland) who had 7 miniature Pinchers running loose, not on leashes.  It is a ordinance violation in East Lampeter Township to permit any dog to run at large.  All dogs must be on an adequate leash while using a township park. Mark Wingerd cited with said violation.
  7. At approximately 9:15 p.m., police were dispatched for a noise complaint at the dead end of East Walnut Street.  Police located RAMON REYES-BURGOS (30 year old / Hispanic male / Lancaster) at said location who admitted to playing music loudly.  The music could be heard approximately 450’ way.  Ramon Reyes-Burgos cited with disorderly conduct.
