Police Incidents from 3/8/19 thru 3/12/2019
WARRANT SERVICE: On 3-8-19 at 1407 hours a Dauphin County Drug Task Force Detective made police aware that James Macaulay (45) of Landisville, who had felony warrants out Dauphin County for a murder for hire plot, was at the East Hempfield Township Municipal Building, 1700 Nissley Rd. Police took McCaulay into custody, without incident, and transported him to Dauphin County Central Booking.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 3-8-19 police were contacted by the victim of a Criminal Mischief that occurred in the 2800 block of Scenic Dr. Sometime between 3-7-19 at 0000 hours and 3-8-19 at 0930 hours, actor(s) cut the sidewalls of all 4 tires on the victim’s vehicle. Estimated loss $700.00.
BURGLARY: On 3-9-19 at 0434 hours police responded to B&B Yamaha Sales & Service, 343 Champ Blvd for a burglar alarm. Following investigation it was determined that the business was forcibly entered and (5) Yamaha Dirt Bikes were taken. Estimated property damage is $1,500.00 and estimated value of items taken is $17,597.00.
THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 3-10-19 police responded to Monro Muffler & Brake Service, 191 Rohrerstown Rd for a reported Theft from Vehicle. Following investigation it was determined that between 3-9-19 at 2200 hours and 3-10-19 at 0900 hours, actor(s) removed 4 tires and 4 wheels from a Jeep in the parking lot. Estimated value of loss is $1,100.00.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 3-11-19 police responded to Warfel Construction Co, 1110 Enterprise Rd for a Criminal Mischief complaint. Following investigation it was determined that sometime between 3-9-19 and 3-11-19, (2) mailboxes at this location, 1 belonging to their tenant Phoebe Pharmaceutical Co, were forcibly opened and the mail was removed. Estimated damage is $400.00.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 3-12-19 police responded to Wiley’s Pharmacy, 903 Nissley Rd, for a Criminal Mischief complaint. Following investigation, it was determined that actor(s) spray painted graffiti on a white fence enclosing a storage area. Estimated property damage is $100.00.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 3-12-19 police observed several road signs on Nissley Rd were spray painted with graffiti. Property damage amount is unknown at this time.
