The East Earl Township Police Department arrested Joyce E. Martin of Coatesville for DUI - General Impairment, DUI - Highest Rate, Driving on Right Side of Roadway.  On March 10, 2023 at around 5:50 PM, officers investigated a vehicle vs. horse and buggy crash on Main Street in front of the Shady Maple Complex.  The investigation revealed that a vehicle driven by Martin struck the horse and buggy.  Investigators noticed that Martin displayed signs of impairment.  The results of a breath test showed that Martin had a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .205% at the time of the crash.

Martin is PRESUMED INNOCENT.
