Aggressive Driving Enforcement

Wave 1 of the Pennsylvania Aggressive Driving Enforcement and Education Project ended on November 19th. The goal of the program is to reduce the number of Aggressive Driving related crashes, injuries and deaths on roadways throughout the State by enforcing speeding and other unsafe driving driving actions.  

The East Cocalico Police Department conducted 7 enforcement details during the 4 week phase and stopped a total of 100 vehicles.  81 motorists received citations for speeding and other traffic violations.  19 motorists were given warnings for traffic or equipment violations.  Details were conducted on Rt 897, North and South Reamstown Road, Hill Road, North 6th Street and Lancaster Avenue.   

The East Cocalico Police Department will be conducting additional enforcement details running into December of 2017.
