Brad A Gensemer, 43, of Denver, PA was charged with Simple Assault, Domestic Violence, Intimidation of a Witness or Victim, 2 counts Terroristic Threats, Harassment, and Public Drunkenness after an incident that occurred at his residence on February 8, 2019. At 2308 hours, East Cocalico Police were dispatched for a report of an assault. The victim told Police that her finacee, Brad Gensemer, had punched her in the face causing her eye to swell and turn black and blue. The victim told Police that Gensemer also grabbed her legs and "tried to break them."
Gensemer was located a short time later on North 5th Street. He was highly intoxicated and had fallen down on the sidewalk. He was taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison. While enroute to the prison, Gensemer told Officers that he was going to kill the victim and Police when he gets out of prison. The charges of Intimidation of a Witness and Terroristic Threats were added to the complaint after consulting with the District Attorney's Office.
Gensemer was arraigned an remanded to Lancaster County Prison after failing to post bail. Lancaster County Adult Probation/Parole filed a detainer to keep him incarcerated.
