Suspicious Death of 74-Year-Old Manheim Man Under Investigation

Manheim Borough police, in conjunction with the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office, are investigating the death of a man found near his home.

Charles W. Miller, 74, died on the morning of March 8 at an area hospital, where he was treated after he was found in an outside area of the first block of South Wolf Street, Manheim, on Feb. 25.

An autopsy was performed on March 9 and the results are pending.

Anyone with information about Miller’s whereabouts and/or who he had interactions with in the days prior to his death is asked to contact Manheim Borough police (717-665-2481). Information can also be provided via the SUBMIT A TIP button on this CrimeWatch page.

Information obtained so far in the investigation indicates Miller was last accounted for late on the night of Feb. 23.

Lancaster County detectives from the District Attorney’s Office are assisting Manheim Borough police with interviews, evidence collection and analysis and other investigative tasks.
