The snow emergency which was declared on Sunday, January 31, 2021 was rescinded as of 5:00pm on Tuesday, February 2, 2021.
Residents are now permitted to park on Snow Emergency Routes. Residents are further reminded that snow removal will continue in the Borough and if it becomes necessary for residents to move their vehicle(s) to facilitate snow removal, they will be notified prior to the beginning of work.
As we continue the snow removal process, residents are again reminded that it is illegal to throw snow into the street and to place items in parking lanes to reserve parking.
The Columbia Borough Highway Department is currently working on removing snow on Locust Street from 3rd Street to 5th Street.
