Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas.  On November 19, 2021 two full-time and one part-time Columbia Borough Police Officers joined more than thirty Officers from local municipalities for a few hours of shopping at Ollie's Bargain Outlet in Lancaster.  The Officers filled their baskets with toys, then assisted in checking out at the register and transporting the toys to a designated Toys for Tots distribution center.  The owner of Absolute Fitness paid the bill as an annual donation to the Toys for Tots organization.
