On Friday, April 21, 2023 employees, volunteers, and elected officials conducted the 2nd Annual Community Cleanup Day in Columbia.
The team of over 40 people did a wonderful job picking up large items and taking them to the dump, picking up trash on the sidewalks and streets, and cleaning up the Rt. 30 interchange at Rt. 441.
In two days of cleanup (The Columbia Park Rangers conducted a cleanup on Rt. 441 the night before.) over 1660 pounds of trash were collected.
The Community is grateful to the Columbia Park Rangers, Gamby Disposal, River Valley Disposal, Sahd Salvage, and all volunteers for their efforts.
Our Community is blessed to have such wonderful, caring, employees, volunteers, and elected officials who dedicate themselves to making the town a better place.
