Anyone who would like to sell goods and/or services door-to-door in Columbia Borough must purchase a permit from the Borough Office first.  This permit request includes a background check for each person who will be soliciting.  If a solicitor comes to your door you have the right to see their permit.  If they will not/cannot show you the permit you should call the police department immediately (Columbia Borough Police Department 717-684-7735).
