On 8/30/19 at approximately 7:50am the Columbia Borough Police Department was dispatched to the first block of North 6th Street for a vehicle break-in not in progress. Upon arrival the officer spoke with the victim who stated that sometime overnight between 4:15 pm on 8/29/19 and 7:40am on 8/30/19 someone had broken into to his Gray in color Chrysler. The officer observed damage to the drivers side front door which appeared to be pry and scratch marks. The victim said that a portable lock box valued at $36.00, still in it's original packaging, and a black leather wallet containing a Social Security card, a deactivated bank card and a family photo were missing from inside the vehicle.
