On 11/1/21 at approximately 7:30pm  the Columbia Borough Police Department responded to a report of a lost or stolen firearm in the 500 block of Union Street, Columbia, PA.  The caller stated he believes someone took a pistol from his silver in color BMW sometime between Sunday, 10/31/21 at approximately 1:30pm and Monday, 11/1/21  at approximately 7:20pm.  The victim stated that the Springfield XD40 gun (Serial No. XD506187) was loaded with approximately twelve (12) rounds of hollow point ammunition.  He also said that $3-$4 in change was missing from the driver's door pocket.  The gun is valued at approximately $300.00.  Anyone with information regarding this theft is encouraged to contact the Columbia Borough Police Department at 717-684-7735 or by texting LANCS to 847411.
