On 12/7/18 at approximately 12:16am a Columbia Borough Police Officer was on patrol in the 100 Block of Walnut Street when a silver Volkswagen failed to stop for a stop sign and turned right cutting the Officer off. The Officer activated his emergency overhead lights and initiated a vehicle stop. When the Officer approached the vehicle he could smell the odor of marijuana. There were two adults, later identified as Sierra Alyssa Parduski, 19, of Marietta and Jose Luis Santiago, Jr, 18, of Columbia, and two juveniles in the vehicle. Several bags of marijuana, a scale with marijuana residue on it, several marijuana brownies and empty cigar blunt wrappers were found in the vehicle. All four people were transported to the Columbia Borough Police Department for processing. All of the suspects were advised that they would be receiving charges for possession of marijuana and were released. Note: All parties are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
