On 12/2/21 at approximately 10:00am the Columbia Borough Police Department was notified that a mattress had been dumped at Locust Street Park in the 500 block of Locust Street.  Prior to this report the owner of the mattress contacted an Officer to report that he had put the mattress in front of his house for a friend to pick it up.  Prior to the friends arrival someone moved the mattress into Locust Street Park.  Several residents reported that the mattress was seen in Locust Street Park on 12/2/21 between 6:00am and 8:00am.  Anyone with information as to who placed the mattress in Locust Street Park is encouraged to contact the Columbia Borough Police Department at 717-684-7735 or by texting "LANCS" to 847411.
