The Columbia Borough Police is investigating a hit and run accident that occurred on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at approximately 3;14 pm in the 500 Blk of Ave N at Makle Park.  A group of people were leaving the park at the time of the accident.  Attached video shows a gold possibly Mercury Sable sedan with a black cloth top back out of a parking space and strike a sport utility vehicle parked in the alley.  At the time of the crash there was a person underneath the vehicle working on it.  The suspect vehicle fled west towards S Fifth Street on Ave N.  No serious injuries were reported.  Anyone with information can call the Columbia Borough Police at (717)684-7735 or tips can be sent by texting LANCS to 87411.
