On 2/17/22 at approximately 3:20pm the Columbia Borough Police Department was notified by a Columbia resident that the bank account she shares with her husband had been compromised and all of their money in both the checking and savings accounts was missing.  She stated that her husband received a text from their bank stating that their accounts had been hacked/scammed.  They were also told to Zelle $101.00 to a certain email address.  At first they money did not appear to come out of the account but they later found that all of their money was missing.  Anyone with a similar scenario is encouraged to contact the Columbia Borough Police Department at 717-684-7735.
