On 8/22/20 at approximately 10:31am an officer responded to the 400 block of Norwood Road for a burglary not in progress.  The caller stated that he left his house around 8:45pm on 8/21/20 and returned around 9:00am on 8/22/20 which is when he noticed the screen on his storm door was pulled out and damaged.  He said he went inside the house and found a pair of needle nose pliers on his couch that were not his.  He then noticed that $900 was missing from an envelope he had hidden in the house.  If anyone has any information regarding this incident please contact the Columbia Borough Police Department at 717-684-7735 or text LANCS to 847411.
