On 10/24/20 at approximately 1:48am the Columbia Borough Police Department was dispatched to the 400 block of Union Street for an assault.  Upon arrival the officer spoke with witnesses who stated that a large black male, approximately 6'2" tall and around 320 lbs and wearing a teddy bear shirt had committed assault on a female at a local business when he punched her in the eye with substantial force.  It was reported that the male and a group of others left the business (some on foot and some in a Dodge Dart bearing license plate LCL6508).  Anyone who has information regarding this assault should contact the Columbia Borough Police Department at 717-684-7735 or by texting LANCS to 847411.
