On 06-11-20 at approx. 10:56 AM the Columbia Borough Police were called to the 200 blk. of Mill St. for a suspicious activity complaint. It was reported that a male was chasing another male that was described as a black male with stocky build and wearing a long shirt and long pants. The male being chased was reported to have a gun. They were both last seen running towards Lawrence St. An officer believed that the male involved was a Tazsease McNeal of Lawrence St.
At approx. 11:20 AM an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 200 blk. of Mill St. Where the officer observed the front seat, passenger was Tazsease McNeal (19) of Columbia. McNeal was known to the officer to currently be wanted on a warrant from the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office. The officer heard the driver of the vehicle yelling to McNeal, “please don’t do it, don’t do it”. The officer called for assistance and gave verbal commands to the vehicle occupants. McNeal was then taken into custody and did match the description given for the earlier call.
McNeal was turned over to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office.
