On 4/11/21 at approximately 11:15pm the Columbia Borough Police Department was dispatched to the 400 block of Cherry Street for a hit and run vehicle accident.  The caller said she heard a loud crash and then tires squealing.  Upon arrival, the Officer saw considerable damage to the front of a building.  The building was deemed unsafe and was condemned,  temporarily displacing several residents.  A CrimeWatch post was created and someone provided a tip stating Aaron Scott Manning, age 36, of Elizabethtown, PA was the driver of the crashed vehicle.  Manning has been charged with causing an Accident involving attended property.  Manning is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
