On 3/15/19 at approximately 8:08 am the Columbia Borough Police Department was dispatched to the 900 Block of Lancaster Avenue for a report of a retail theft. The caller stated that a white male, later identified as Joseph Paul Krasley, Jr., 23, of Columbia had placed several items in his pockets and exited the business without paying for them. The Officer found the male and placed him under arrest. When the Officer searched Krasley he found several packages of candy and a can of soup with a total value of $5.25.. The Officer also found multiple needles, drug packaging materials, and a spoon with burnt residue. Krasley was charged with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Krasley is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
