Christiana Borough has a population of 1300 and is almost ½ square miles in area. The Borough is a mostly residential small community.

The work hours include nights, all weekends, and some holidays. 6-hour shifts are available to a maximum of 30 to 36 hours per week.

Hourly rate is $27.00.

Qualifications:

• United States Citizen
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Valid Driver’s License
• High School Diploma or GED required; post-secondary credits preferred but not required
• Must be Pennsylvania Act 120 Certified
• Experience preferred but will train the right person.
• Must have a good work ethic and be self-motivated
• Must be physically and mentally fit to perform all functions of a police officer according to MPOETC standards
• Must be of high moral character and be able to pass a thorough background investigation
