Please avoid traveling on West Fourth Street to South Church Street as the traffic signal cables are hanging down into the intersection. This intersection will likely be blocked off for most of today. Updates to follow.
Shortly after 1300 hrs. Thursday 12/13/18 Lancaster City Police responded to 2 businesses in our jurisdiction that reported receiving bomb threats via email.
Currently we have the 400 blk. N. Duke St. closed to vehicle & pedestrian traffic as we investigate one incident.
Other Officers are checking another similar incident at a business in the Buhrle Industrial center on the 1000 blk. New Holland Ave. No roads have been closed on that incident. All Officers just cleared from that incident at 1401 hrs.
Manheim Township Police are currently investigating a two-car crash which has one lane of Route 283 East closed at the split / intersection with Route 30 East. Motorists should expect delays through this area and plan alternate routes of travel. Updates will be broadcast when they become available.
