Over the last 24 hours, the West Lampeter Township Police Department received several calls regarding a fox acting oddly and aggressively in Hunter’s Ridge and surrounding neighborhoods. On Saturday, August 30th, 2025, at approximately 12:00PM, officers from the West Lampeter Township Police Department responded to the area of Woodcrest Drive, where the fox was located and safely dispatched. The animal was turned over to Pennsylvania Game Commission officers for testing which will take place in the next several days.
